"Our whole existence is nothing but a long apprenticeship to enable us to survive the disasters that come either from without or within us, until the quiet hours of the evening, the sunset, and the good death, for which, during this whole long life, we have been secretly prepared through the return within the advancing of time."

Oh my.

This is really sad. I didn't know either of them, but Laura was the last one to help me at Miguel's before leaving.

So sad. I'm really sorry to those who knew them well.

My condolences to Ben and Laura's friends and family, they will both be missed.

My condolences to the families and everyone who knew them. Even though I did not know either Ben or Laura this accident really hits hard...

I didn't know them that well either but I remember Ben from Miguels and it makes me so sad to think that something so terrible could happen to two people who were so young and full of life. My thoughts are with their families and friends.

God Bless

Tragic loss! Words fail me. I didn't know either one but recognize their faces from Miguels. They were obviously well loved and will be missed by many!

May God comfort all of you who knew them and are mourning their loss.

a moment of silence for them.......................................................

i've just been playing it in my head over and over and it sucks. it makes me hurt becuase of who it was, how it happened, and that it happened. we were not close but we shared the same air, time, and rope occasionally and it sucks to know you wont see someone again. my head hangs low for all of you folks down there, the family, and everyone that knew them both. be strong.

to all of you, please be safe out there.

Well said anticlimber-
Such sad news...I feel so bad for the famlies and close friends of Laura and Ben. Just a tragic day. :(
