Eastern Sky Bridge: Where oh where???

Maybe we were tired, maybe we're geographically challenged, maybe it's the new fallen leaves, maybe it's a Cdn thing (km to miles), maybe we're just stupid but would someone please give us "good" guidance on how to get to ESB eh.

We had the guide book, we saw and drove over and back over the bridge nearby, we saw and parked in the Funk rock parking spot, we found one trail on the "other" side of the road which led to some primitive campsites, we saw other pullouts, we met millions of hikers and one climber who thought he knew where to go, we walked up and down the road (barely cursing at all!) BUT ALAS we never got there and were pretty frustrated in our attempts (esp since I'd already taken us on a 'detour' around Dayton and lost another hour+ of valuable climbing time).
Any help (not abuse...I'm getting use to this website) would be greatly appreciated and my poor partner will never have to see the 'ugly' side of me again!

From the Funk rock parking area, drive downhill (toward the concreate bridge) just a little bit. There will be a pretty good sized pull off on the right. Park here. If you are heading to the main wall (super dario, king me, etc) then walk the road downhill, toward the bridge. After maybe 50 yards, there will be a trail on the left, with a small rock step to start. Follow this uphill to the way, near commencement. If you are heading toward return of geoffe bean, right across the road from the parking is the trail that takes you to the campsites - walk past them, kinda bush whacking uphill, and when you hit the wall, near the (closed) great arch, walk left to the route.

Oh, and PS, if you are looking for Jack the Ripper, etc. Then park next to the bridge, on the same side as the other parking, walk across the road, head uphill to the cliff, then walk left to the routes.

The guidebook approach beta is pretty spot on for this crag- So just be sure to pay close attention to your odometer- 0.7 miles from the bridge eh.

The directions in the guidebook for when coming from the Pineville side say "look for a pulloff on your right about 1 mile past the larger pulloff for Funk Rock City." I think that is what throws people off. That distance is no way one mile. The second pulloff is pretty close to the Funk Rock City one. After you find that, follow the directions above.
