 it's a dual....

btw, I was just yanking yer chain. but larding on JTP for being stupid seems a bit disingenious for a democratic supporter when the little guy, the down trodden, and the poor guy are just those we want to reach.

Since when do you need a gubment license to be a plumber? He's not a union member, thats what they hate.

When you have a deficit that means you spent too much, not that you taxed too little.
So, you're a feminist...isn't that cute.

The reason I don't give a shit about this Joe the Plumber is because he's a dumbass. He'll vote against his own interest just because in his imagination he might some day earn more than $250,000. I'm sure if he ever does make that much money (doubtful as he's a dumbass), paying an extra grand in taxes is going to cause him to not hire people or not work hard. It's a fiction. His life is a fiction, McInsane and Failin's definition of him is fiction, and the entire Republican view of how the world works is a fiction. I'm pretty sure the last 8 years has proven that.

There's a logical problem with this argument. He is put forward as an example by your guy so we're supposed to take what is said about him at face value without question. But it turns out that simply by looking at who he is and what he's done we find he's a deadbeat that hasn't paid his taxes, he's not a licensed plumber, he would pay more under McInsane's tax and healthcare plans, he would fare far better under O bama's healthcare plan, and he probably will never make enough money to have his taxes go up under O bama. That's not attacking, it's observing.

William Ayers is kind of the reverse but we're still supposed to believe without questioning that he's some kind of monster, as your guys say. According to your guys he's some kind of raving, bloodthirsty, bombtoting madman out to end civilization. We're supposed to ignore everything about the man from the early 70's to the present day. We're supposed to ignore that he's a celebrated reformer (isn't that what your people say is good?). We're supposed to believe, without question that he said he wished he'd "done more bombing" because McInsane or Failin' says so despite this:
"The one thing I don't regret is opposing the war in Vietnam with every ounce of my being.... When I say, 'We didn't do enough,' a lot of people rush to think, 'That must mean, "We didn't bomb enough shit."' But that's not the point at all. It's not a tactical statement, it's an obvious political and ethical statement. In this context, 'we' means 'everyone.'"
Because your guy says something doesn't mean it is so. As a matter of fact it is much more likely to mean it's total bullshit. You can buy into the lies or you can search for the truth. It is obvious you've developed a taste for the Kool Aid.

Here's the problem with your arguments, Day: you don't research them. You just regurgitate the lies your people tell. Researching doesn't mean hunting down right wing editorials and copying them as if they were fact. Of course your mindset is that anything that is counter to your belief system is full of "liberal bias" and because of your conservative beliefs it is almost impossible for you to change your opinion. If facts that are counter to what you believe are presented you are more likely to believe what's false than you were before the proof of falsehood was given. At this point there are at least five well designed scientific studies that show this. But since your people don't believe in the scientific process you can dismiss this as a personal attack instead of the search for truth that it is. I'd bet you still believe Sadam had WMD (and that it's been proven), I'll bet you believe Iraq was involved in 9/11, or that O bama is a "secret Muslim." The list goes on and what it boils down to for most people that think like you is that they're stupid fucking bigots with no ability to think on their own.

Well, actually, I think you're describing yourself quite accurately there Mr. Evil. Not surprised, as you certainly know yourself much better than you know me. Projection is probably what your shrink would call it.

I know you are, but what am I?

I'm observing, not projecting. You get your copy & paste arguments from the small cadre of radical right ideologues whose opinions agree with yours while I gather information from a large number of sources (including monitoring the insipid bullshit from the same radical right ideologues you read), consider them, make the connections, etc. (for instance I read an article about the witch killings in Kenya and made the connection with that Muffee nutjob weeks ago) and generally trust the people who have devoted their lives to the truth while distrusting those who have devoted their lives to twisting the truth to their own purposes. I trust scientists. You do not. I trust reporters while distrusting pundits. You can't tell the difference.
