MISSING KEEN FLAG

Post by Josephine »

first off - i must say i'll be buying a lot more keen products.

1. their approach shoes are waterproof, which makes my feet happy
2. they donated all $40 i paid for them to the RRGCC
3. the shoes are pretty darn comfy
4. they also donated several thousand ON TOP OF the money raised by selling shoes
5. their staff was super friendly too.

if you haven't gotten a chance to buy from them, please do!

that being said, keen had some super cool giant flags that lined the entry way into Rocktoberfest. they were bright yellow, said "KEEN" and were probably about 15 feet by 3 feet. The one that was closest to the rest area was taken on saturday night. The pole was broken and the flag was gone :-(

I doubt a climber did it (i really hope it wasn't a climber!) but i thought maybe we could keep our eyes open and perhaps it would turn up some where.

josi, climbers could have just as easily stole it as anyone else. our community is merely a microcosm of society at large. sad, but true.

Crank is pretty ticked off about his pad and I don't blame him. If you took it give it back or karma will get your ass. Theres no reason to steal from such a generous person. Hell he would have given it to you if you just asked first.
