Just shoot me now!
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

I think you're going to be seeing some visitors. Rumor has it Snake Jackson is heading your way soon. I have had the good fortune of having taken four trips (11 weeks total) in the Winds. It is the best!

BTW, how are things at the Wrangler Cafe?

Snowed in Pinedale yesterday. This morning it was 25 and there was a heavy frost. Thinking about tuning up my skis early.

Sweeeeeet! Its a hot, humid, pleasant 93 here today in good ole Central K - Y.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

show me where in my post i said i loved it? Maybe i HATE tuning my skis. Or maybe I'm gonna ski in to the Wind Rivers and climb some un-done 1500' immaculate granite wall in full winter conditions while you stay at home and wait for the temps to drop so you can climb 60 feet of sand.

Who is the "real" climber!?

As far as a cat fight between me and dana, she'd kick my ass in seconds flat at both skiing and climbing.

hatin on the red already? climbed 8 new pitches sunday in 90 degree humidity...that's the way real climbers do it  (and gasp, actually plugged gear, so I guess I take back my "real" climber remark)

seriously now, a 1500' immaculate undone granite wall...do those still exist in the lower 48? at our level anyway? or was that just to make me jealous? since I don't swim or ski, it'll take more for me to pine for powder in september.

you're still assuming i was pining for powder in september, my posts never say that. I also did not say anything negative about the red, just that it was made of sand, which is a fact, not a dis. I guess you should learn to read!! ;)

and as to the 1500 immaculate unclimbed granite... there are a multitude in the wind rivers. you just gotta hike 20 miles to get to em.

jenn and I put up a new route last year that goes at 5.7 and is 12 pitches. Ahhhh, i mean never mind. It's played out and the mosquitos are horrible!
