so my buddies and i went climbing 8.30. got to global village parking at 8am. left two cars. came back at noon. stereo/amp/subs/ipod were all gone. my buddy had left his doors unlocked! ah! we were the first ones to climb there that day. everyone else showed up an hour later. i guess they hit it during that window as there was a steady stream of people after 9.
so my buddies and i went climbing 8.31 at left flank. got to martin's fork parking at 7:30am. rear window busted out of someones car.
just a heads up. so i try to follow the whole no valuables in sight (actually, i have no valuables in the car). should we all just start leaving windows down and cars unlocked or what????!?!?!??!!!?
if you could just please sort it into two piles outside of the car, that would be helpful. in one pile the obvious value items, (stereo, money, etc.) and in the other pile anything of possible value at the time, (beer, van camp wieners, yo-yo, etc.) that would be a huge help. thanks for your help!
Yeah, I try not to leave anything of value in my car while in the Red. Although I also try and think the best in people but sometimes the best in people seems to slip away.

seems like most of the break ins haven't been in the southern region, mostly in the gorge proper and natrual bridge area. you just have to watch out for the ATV's down in the southern region.
