Recent issue of R&I mag has a short bit on Steph Davis and basejumping but includes the news that both she and hubby Dean Potter lost significant sponsors ( I'm assuming Patagonia) due to the fallout from the arch climb done by Dean in Utah, I think Steph was shooting photos and got the hammer for such. Harsh? appropriate given the access issue? who cares about those wankers and patagucci anyway?
Dean's a cool guy, never really talked to steff much. Patagonia seems to give a crap about the environment and makes pretty good clothing/gear.. who give a crap what R&I thinks?

It may have been the issue that Patagucci had to take action somehow and that was the outcome. I mean Dean prob should have thought a little before doing it, but who knows....

He shouldn't have taken the film crew with him. Just done the route, kept his mouth shut and none of this would have happened. He deserves what he gets.
Sounds like potter is an arrogant prick and Patapooponyagucci realized that he isn't the kind of dude they want representing them, nor anyone that associates with him.
