MAny of you know Shamis on here (Gary Barnett).
What you may not have known is today he donated a kidney to his mother. She lives in Pennsylvania.
He was heavily sedated when I talked to him, but said he was doing well.
He also said that his mother's body initially accepted the kidney.
Great news all around.
Since I know he will be rehabbing for several weeks, just wanted to wish him get well greetings on his third favorite forum.
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.

What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

Let that body heal, Gary! It'll be strong and healthy in no time!
Wishing your mother a healthy recovery as well and may her body continue to accept its new life gift.

That is very admirable, Gary's mom must be proud of her job raising him.
Awesome!
