After almost five years of living in Lexington, and climbing at the red, it is time to leave. This weekend I will be moving to Platteville Wisconsin and starting a 'real' job.
Starting to climb, when I moved to Lexington, was one of the best things I ever did. Over the past five years I have had many great days of climbing with good people. I just wanted to thank all the people that I have shared a rope with over the past five years, and all the people that make climbing at the red what it is. Hopefully I will continue to make it down once or twice a season.

Moving away from the red
Chriss, you really motivated me in the time that you were here. I learned to love choss as long as the points were good, and that a climbing day doesn't count unless you get at least ten pitches in.
It was great climbing with you and good luck to you and your wife in your new adventure.

Is "good people" all we are to you down here? Sheesh!
Good luck out there. It was awesome to get to climb with such a "beast" on a few occasions! Now I'm just stuck with krampus and the like!
I hope that one day I can do half as many routes in a week as you do in a day even if the points are only like 1/4 the value.

efil lanrete... i enjoy the sound, but in truth i find this seductively backward idea to be quite frightening
Platteville means (in French) "flat city"... but I'm sure you'll find a piece of rock to climb on somewhere (and you'll have your own wall soon).
I'm already missing you guy (and Mr Long Arm too!)
You are such a good climbing partner and a great belayer ; always motivated, positive, supportive... energetic (10 pitches a day at least)
Hope to see you around sometime and sharing other awsome days at the Red cause whatever happens, every day at the Red IS A GOOD DAY!, isn't it?
Wish you all the best!
Au revoir et bon voyage!

PS: I'll have a thought for you with each sip of Diet Mountain Dew for sure...
