Thank You all so much for all of the nice comments. I'll tell you what, building something like this really can put your creative skills to the limit. We didn't have a blueprint and just made things up as we went along. During all of the long weeks of working there, I thought of many of the truely beatuiful, quality people that I have met while I have lived here in the Red. Honestly, this was the insperation for me to do my best work on this project. When I would feel like I had done the job "good enough", I would remember how people came out to help out after the fire and how much was given not only to the Tacketts but also to me and I would reach for another sheet of sandpaper. The love that was shared shines brightly here in cabin #1. I hope that many of our friends will enjoy this little slice of Kentucky's finest cabin for many years to come.
Eric
P.S. If you come over to look at the cabin, you better keep an eye out for me hiding in the woods waiting to shoot you!
