dyna-flex

Post by der uber »

What do you guys think?

At a minimum, it seems like it helps warmup. At best, it help condition the forearms and elbows.

I like to use it while driving to work, sometimes on the way to the crag and/or gym. I'm not under any illusions that it is the key to success, but it does seem to add something.

Does anyone else use one regularlry, and if so, what is your routine?

I walk a couple of miles during lunch and I will use it then. I'll switch arms every half mile. I'll get it going really fast and sustain that for a couple of minutes then slow it down and then repeat it.

Has helped with some pain in my elbow from another injury.

I noticed it gives your thumb a good pump, which may be beneficial for crack climbers.

I've just started using one regularly, and noticed immediate benefits for my elbow.

I use it to warm up and cool down, as well as for elbow therapy.

Son, don't make me ground you again.

It won't help me send. It'll just help my elbow not hurt when I hike your shit.

One nice thing about it is that you can target different parts of the arm, from the fingers up to the shoulder.

when I was nursing a flared pulley, I felt that the dyna-flex was more theraputic than power putty. I was using both, but when the inflamation subsided shortly after I added the dyna-flex (hardly sceintific/imperical data).

Have been using it since I got the advice here, see "grip strength"

Gives me something to do while commuting, did seem to eliminate the ulnar nerve pinch problem I had with other grippers.

Unfortunately, still a gumby tho.

But wow, maybe if Odub is using it, there's still hope!
