Summer in the Red. In Style!

Post by Wes »

Those of you braving the summer temps should really look into renting a cabin from Red River Outdoors - esp. the new "honeymoon cabin." Nothing like a nice hot shower, relaxing movie and maybe a dip or two in the hot tub to make the humidity fade (at least til the next day). Matt and Eric and Ames really put some love into this cabin, and the detail work is amazing for sure.

That wood looks amazing.

For some reason in the first picture, I saw a stripper pole when I first looked at it, but it was just the light from the curtain. I thought the stripper pole was a good touch for the honeymoon cabin.

The fisheye plus all the swirly knotty pine grain is making me think not so much "stay in the cabin and go climbing" but rather "stay in the cabin and chew little squares of paper..."

But the cabin thing is very appealing .. no tent setup/break down .. no lumpy root in the back all night .. plus a relaxing hot tub soak in the evening ... mmmmmmm!

I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.
