Ground Control to all Starship Troopers

Post by ahab »

Starship Trooper @ Hen's Nest (5.9)

Judging by the exclusive spray list, i'm guessing this won't get a whole lot of replies, but i just have to ask. wtf is the beta for the last moves on this climb? i know i suck at jams, but christ, i made this thing feel more like an 11 than the current rating of 5.9. seemed like the feet were no where to be found, which resulted in me basically campus jamming. Is there a secret foot? a magical jam? Is it called starship trooper b/c that's what is needed to send? any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I remember getting slightly horizontal. That's about it. Awesome climb for how short it is.

Hey man, our jams would've stuck if our hands were as swollen as they were after we finished. In hindsight, I think the #2 thwarted us both- when in doubt... 8)

If I remember correctly, It was right foot in the crack (great footjam), and left foot alternating between smearing out left and in the crack as well.

The hands were bomber.

Definitely 5.9, but really fun.

hmm, dronez we wasted too much time trying to find feet on the face when there was perfectly good crack to be had.
