would it be possible to have a set of boxes in the advanced search to filter climbs that you have or haven't yet done. I know that climbs you've done come up a different color but it would be nice to have the ability to filter them out.

actually can we add an advanced search option that will only bring up climbs i can send that day? it would have to be linked into the weather service of course so it can take into acct the conditions. and cross referenced to what i've already done. this would ensure my greatest chances for success and i'd quit wasting time on the ones that are too hard for me

I'm working on the filter those you've already sent - Kris requested it recently, too. I'll let you guys know.

Josie - I'm on it. ;)

Yasi, can you add in an option for taking into account where we are in our menstrual cycles? Thanks!

pru . . . you are off the hook! :D :D

Now, I am stepping into some dangerous territory here, but menstruation has to help the send more than it hurts due to the depth of rage that the fems can mine to get up a route. OK . . . probably not.

I would love to ask . . . but I feel a bit like a spectator, voyeuristically peering into the secret lives of women.

Oh hell with it! So what is the impact/ effect of being on the rag while climbing? Do you lose or gain and by how many letter grades. :|

Sure, pru - that way, every time you search the guide during that week, you'll get a fun little pop up that asks, "Did you pack enough feminine hygiene products for the weekend?"

caribe - honestly, I don't feel like it affects my climbing. But, I also don't get PMS or cramps or any of that other annoying stuff, so I'm probably a poor specimen for this study.

Caribe, many women claim to send harder while ragging. I cannot explain the physiological logic behind that. My energy tends to be lower for a couple of days, but that's generally the only effect I notice.

Once Yasi adds this period tracking feature to the Guidebook, all the women here can start noting if they were menstruating or not during their sends and then we can start to gather and analyze REAL data. I can't wait! Please use the appropriate color bars on the graph, Yas. Thank you.
