Permanent Vacation

Post by JB »

So after a couple years living the seasonal life and enjoying the mini-van nomad thing, jenn and I are tentatively putting down some roots.

We're in Pinedale, Wyoming, gateway to the Cirque of Towers, Gannet Peak, Titcomb Basin, and the rest of the Winds. We're an hour and half south of the Tetons.

Come visit or let me know if you need a place to crash on your way through.

In the "small world" category, I just met Sara Hass's brother Logan. He came in to climb at the wall in the REC center where I'm working. Cool kid for sure.

Might head that way eventually. We were in Wyoming last weekend, but only as far as Laramie. Camped at VEDAVOO and the kids had a blast.

Hope everything goes well. I'd love to see the Winds up close. As it is I'm kinda overwhelmed by the Front Range right now.

Later...

Dude, you have mad a terrible mistake, inviting a bunch of dirtbags to your home..............I'll be stopping by on the 27th to eat all your food and drink your beer!

Seriously, I plan on doing a bit of climbing in the Winds around the end of the month with a few friends. You and Jenn should come out and climb with us, good time for sure.

Dipsi-doodle, you better follow through on your promise! :0

Kneebar, you better not follow through on yours (the stopping by part is fine, eating all my food is fine, but you can't drink all my beer!)

Life is good. Skeeters are horendous!

kneebar,

I'm hiking in to the Cirque on the 28th for a week or so. We will look you up if you are there for a social call if you want to give up the personal beta. I suppose we could just ask around for Kneebar?
