It's all ago! Red Bull is sponsoring these fundraisers and there will be some awesome prizes for the top fundraisers over $200 including cases of redbull, finger boards, gift certificates for gear shops and lots of other climbing gear. The RRGCC is having our Climb for Access Fundraisers on August 30 at the following gyms:

1) Lexington Rocks: Lexington Kentucky. Opens at 10 am. Climb all day and then enjoy the ping pong tourney after!

2) Rockquest Cinci: Same.

3) Climbtime Indianapolis: Same.

We are mailing out the flyers today. Check in your gym for sponsorship flyers or PM me with your personal e-mail address and I'll e-mail them to you!

Per usual I left out an explanation! It is a Climb for Access gym fundraiser. Essentially, climbers collect donations. In exchange for the donations, you agree to climb 200 feet on August 30th, at your local gym. Those who raise the most money OVER $200 are eligible for a prize. The top 3 fundraisers over $200 will either receive Red Bull, a finger board, a gift certificate from a gear shop or some other climbing gear. Donations are to be collected ahead of time and given to the RRGCC at the Fundraiser on Aug. 30.

Okay guys. I'm rejuvenating this thread because the flyers are out and the fundraising should begin. So, who's going to participate and who's willing to sponsor? I'm willing to sponsor someone (I cannot participate because I'm injured) and I have a friend who's willing to pitch in $20. I live in Lexington and know a lot of people....I can help you raise funds...you can win some cool stuff. C'mon. Throw in.

I don't understand things like this. How do I get the money from people? Do they pay X amount of money per foot climbed or something?
