I'd vote for the 9b / Lower Gorge area for sure. Those crags need some love and if they close the road at the Dip Wall parking area it will make for a little more work to rebolt those lines.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Hello everyone,

I am trying to figure out the needs for Purple Valley. I rebolted Captain-One-Eye a few years back so I am thinking that route should be ok. A good anchor check is in order for sure though. Has anyone been on Coffee Talk or Come In Your Lycra lately? Those are two routes I think get a fair bit of traffic.

Lastly I was at the load this past week and noticed Ale-8-One is still sporting old stud/sleeve bolts. I have that on my list to get all new bolts and bran new residentials with quicklinks for the tour.

Also has anyone climbed the easy stuff out at Roadside lately like C-Sharp etc. I am hooing to find out if those need to be on the list to fix as well.

Please let me know if you have any current (last two months) info on the routes status.

Best wishes,
Tony

first bolt on c sharp is piss as well as the second. the anchors on some of those could use a little love. its either all cows are the next one that has the cracked rock at the anchor.

strevels, the anchors on a few of the older routes are sporting the washer design set-up. tic-tac-toe has some greenery coming from some of the bolts as well as chainsaw. you could also add a bolt to valor over discretion? (the 8 on the corner of the ten wall)
up yonder is in SERIOUS need of a bolt before the 1st anchor. strevels as well(the first)

thanks tony
