fixing a broken zipper

Post by toad857 »

we're all familiar with it... the way a zipper will get bojangled and won't zip up properly, leaving an unzipped portion that opens itself up......

anyone ever had success fixing this problem?

I just think that a tent should have a functional zipper, that's all....

Try spraying it with a wax based lubricant. This should be done periodically to keep your zipper working smoothly... or thats what the gear repair guy in JTree told me.

Most manufacturers will warranty this kind of repair as long as you haven't been abusing it. Try calling them up to see what they say or take it to a local gear shop and have them do it for you.
