arent these climbs at Oil Crag? any word on that area ever opening again? there was so much great stuff there, shame that it is closed to climbing.... just curious if anyone is still trying to work out access.

I will worry about it when I've climbed everything else at the Red... so pretty much never. With the mind boggling number of options we have for climbing here, why do people still complain?

So, 2001 or 2002? Anyone know which routes went up in which year, approximately?

I was thinking they were put up around 2000. Could be wrong. I'm curious why you're interested.

there is NO oil crack or rena - it was a plot by the government to make italians look bad - there is no arena or oil crack

I'm thinking he put up some of those routes on the far side of Oil Crack in 1999 or 2000.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
