If you can help it? Does that imply you were forced to boulder alone against your will and that is why you were injured?

I bouldered alone for years, sometimes carrying two pads into the rain forests of KY to get my fix.

Definitely boulder alone.

I have had some of my best days being out alone. A group vibe is great sometimes, you can feed of each other and its safer for sure. But just one or two people out in the middle of nowhere sending lines no one has done is the best.

Is your head ok ? Did you take a big fall ?

Oh yeah. I'm good. Foot popped off a sweaty, damp smear (stupid) plummeted down a hill, bounced off a tree and landed in a ditch. Did everything common sense would tell you to avoid. I just thought to myself that if I'd been knocked out, which was a real possibility, it could have theoretically been a crisis situation.

Yeah, it was pretty cool. I made mewling noises as I rocketed down the hill. I got to the ditch and cried out, "I'M OK" to the empty forest. It was too wet to be out there. My own damn fault.
I've had just about enough of this shit.

So thats what those funny looking red plastic hats are for! I thought they were some climbers fashion statement like prana pants.
