mini guides

Having problems with the board or the online guidebook?
Suggestions welcome.

mini guides

are the mini guides a finished product,if so how do you bring them up. when i click on oil crack for example i get the saving file window,then when i try to open it i get nothing.my wife who is a computer geek says that it isnt working.can any one tell me whats up.

hey there littlefeller,
do you have acrobat reader?i couldn't open it at home,but when i went to school it opened fine.maybe that's what wrong.

Yea, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader.

If it says that it's saving the file, then it's on your harddrive somewhere. You should be able to go to where the files are saved and open them directly.

Regardless - even if you have Acrobat Reader, it isn't configured properly - redownloading can be a pain, but it should configure itself. Also, all this advice is based on the asumption that you're using Windows with the Internet Explorer web browser. If your wife is a serious geek, then she may have set you up with something better! (but harder to configure)

When I printed the miniguides the other day the titles were blank boxes. Can anyone suggest why this happened or at least how to make it print the titles(of the routes)?

I'd say it probably had to do with the version of Acrobat Reader you were using. Try upgrading to V6.0.

my wife downloaded the mini guides a printed them out for me at her work on the super geek computer. :D

Ray,
I had been planning on making a database of red climbs for use on my palm since I got it. I have Acrobat on my palm and these mini guides work great. Thanks for making these available. If there's anything I can do to help with the rest, just let me know.
