Weekend partners - 4/26 through 6/1

Post by JesseJames »

I am looking for people who are psyched to climb in the 5.10 to 5.12+ range. Preferrably sport, but I like trad also.

I've never been to the Red, but If its as good as everybody says, I'll be down there every weekend.

I'm travelling from Seattle for some temporary work. I'll be working during the week near Cleveland, OH, but I plan on spending my weekends at the Red.

Cheers
Jesse

Stay in seattle, but if you have to go to Cleveland, for the love of god, don't bother us real climbers at the Red. Stay in Cleveland.

Andrew, I hope you know JesseJames somehow, if not you are just a jerk. Sorry to call you a name, but you aren't really being that nice. As the RRGCC states in its responsible climbing guidelines "Every climber is a climbing ambassador." You are not being one when you act like a jerk.
Hopefully I am wrong and you know him already. If so I retract my jerk statement.
If not, and the glove fits. Wear it. Try to be an ambassador instead.

I also apologize to you Jesse. School will be out in a few weeks. I haven't broke the 12 range yet. But I am working a few 12a's now. If you need a partner in a few weeks pm me on here and we could set something up. I live close to the red, so I will be down there almost every weekend past mid-may.

BTW Ahab.

Hey Jesse -

I too am new to the area and with my GF out of town am looking for partners. Your grade range would be fine, although I am out of shape (classic) I am fully down with everything from long belay sessions to dynamic catches to having fun. I am mostly working on endurance right now so low grade 10+/11- mileage is where I am at.

One caveat, I bring my 8-year-old with me. He is mellow and has been craggin' with me throughout the US since he was 2 but some people just cannot relax with a kid around, fair enough.

Anyhow, give me a shout if you are interested.

Best, Andrew 724-787-3682.
Peace.
