I heard plyometrics is pretty bad ass! But I usually just ride my roadbike.

I just got a road bike a few weeks ago, and biking is way more fun the running. Esp. around Lexington.
You wanna go on a ride one night Wes? I don't get off from work till like 9:30 but by then it's the perfect temperature.

Run outside.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

My cardio is kettlebell swings. 30 swing sets start on the top of every minute for about 30 minutes. I also do Tabata protocol sprints...sprint 20 sec and walk 10 sec rinse and repeat.

What do you guys do for cardio besides running? Or, do you have treadmill tricks to help with the boredom?
I do what your friend suggests - I set different goals with speed and incline and time, but I also run outdoors and I train for races. Setting the incline up is a better workout and I found is easier on my knees. I also use the stepmill to switch things up.

The best tip is to listen to music - it occupies your mind and increases endorphins, our bodies' natural painkillers. Maybe race the guy the next to you.
