Yeah, we gave up on the idea Saturday, but did do a later Sunday burn, got there around 5:00 or so. First pitch (I just go all the way to the gully before the hole in a pitch) was a little bit wet, but not crazy bad.

Geez man. It was literally raining on that thing when we were on it. But the sun hadn't gotten to it yet. That might have made the difference for you.

Yeah, I ended up just climbing up the face on the opposite side of the belay station to get to the top. I tried for probably a hour to get thru the squeeze, but I just don't fit. At least there's about 0% chance of falling in there.

Did it again yesterday, suffering for someone else's art! ;-)

Going through the hole isn't bad - just go right shoulder up. And for the next pitch, rather then trying to go up as soon as you can, go all the way out the end of the ledge, on the other side of the chock stones, head up toward them, and then head left and out as soon as you get there - there are great feet and hands the whole way, and the squeeze isn't nearly as tight. If you are leading (soloing!) then this way is a little bit headier, because you are doing the last few moves with some air under your feet, and if you start sliding, you will go a long way, rather then just back to a ledge like the rest of the route.

What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.
