yeah, i've always wanted to drive toward dip wall and maybe drive past it a little bit across that stream and park on the right. i was thinking of going down that dirt road and taking a left up hill and looking around up there. it would be cool if it had some boulders to look at. i think i would call it the junkyard if i happened to find some boulders. maybe even name a couple specific lines on the boulders such as the gobstopper, porn bread, culture vaccuum, t-bone traverse. yeah, that sounds cool.

You also could try bouldering up the starts of the sport climbs you feel are over your head. I've heard that the weekends are the best time to do this especially at roadside, torrent or even millitary

why dont you just get the book Bouldering the red river gorge, and find out the area's yourself?

Also If I was to look for decent boulders I might drive past torrent, past the beer trailer then park on the left side of the road, walk up the hill across the road and see what I find.
