Biggest Sport Falls????

I just took my first big fall over 30+ feet on sunday and was wondering about some of your big whipper stories.

My big whipper story consists of saying the fall was 15-20 feet longer than it really was.

70+ on tuna town. Man I hated trying to clip those anchors. Right of passage though.

Yeah my largest was 40 feet.....thank God it was overhung because if it had been vertical I would have decked....my back barely grazed the ground. Thats what I get for trying to clip ABOVE my head and falling with a boat load of slack layin in my lap.

other than the overhang being over a void how would one not deck from a footer simply by a climb being overhung?? a 40 footer on one of the tens at roadside would be close but a 30 footer on ro would suck, because of the boulder. just wondering the math.

I think I took a 40 footer once. It was scary because I ended up only a few feet off the ground

Don't try to clip far below a bolt and fall with lots of slack out, it sucks.

unless kenny added a bolt, falling from the anchors of Special Boy out at Purgatory is pretty exciting. i thinki fell from the anchors to the third bolt, at least 30 feet, probably 40
