Boycott the China Olympics?
Voted yes, but it will never happen. See anything in the news about Burma lately? Thought so.
With that said, Tibet before the 40's was a religious monarchy, with the priests living like kings and plenty of poor people slaving away for them. So, it can't be said that China has had only a very bad influence on Tibet. Never easy or simple answers when it comes to world politics, esp. when you look at more then the last 10 years to try to make a judgement.

Our country is dunking people's heads under the water in POW camps. If they go off line we revive them and do it again. Our current government thinks this is an effective means to get information from terrorist. We get to do this to anyone that the administration defines as enemy combatants. We need to fix things at home before we rank on China.

Free Tibet, blah, blah.... the reason to not go to the Olympics isn't to make a point about Human rights. Like someone said, we have no room to criticize. The reason to stick it to China is because there is a coming conflict with them as their economy becomes a/the world power. Everntually it is going to happen.
