Ditton on the OBED (Stephen King Library) also, Tyranny stays dry right?JR wrote:As long as it isn't long term rain The Stephen King Library has dry 10' and 12's.
I also think the Bunker routes host some dry 12's at Fosters. Not sure about dry 10's
Climbing in the rain... in TN
I got lost in two spots going to tierany.
The first trick is after the initial 10 minutes or so. You cross a couple of wooded bridges. Watch for the path to go up and right around and on top of a small(30 foot) cliff. There is distinct bad path that follows this cliff line and disappears.
The second trick is finding the path that leads to the little slot/scramble down to the cliff at the end of the ridge. Before you get to the end of the ridge and a bunch of false trails meander down to the river. Start checking paths to the right before you get to the end of the ridge.
This with the guidebook might get you there the first time within 30-40 minutes. Good Luck
