Tri-Cams
The pink tricam and the yellow Metolius cams are probably my two most often placed pieces of gear.
Sarcasm is a tool the weak use to avoid confrontation. People with any balls just outright lie.

Steve, that link is awesome. I'm a big pink fan too. I took my biggest screamer ever on a pink many years ago in the red. I think I went about thirty feet, but my memory may have exagerated it. In any case, the little bugger held!
Red tricams are good too. IMO, in the gorge, you should have multiples of the little tricams up to size purple. You can actually fish them into pockets. First ascentionists can use them for aid when placing bolts. I have no doubt the new micro sizes will come in mighty handy too.

Do you tri-cam lovers ever put up routes with only tri-cams. If so, which route? I just want to see how far you dudes are pushing your tri-cam limits.
I've done several short pitches where I've only placed a couple tri-cams and a few nuts. And I'd be willing to bet I could do any gunks route under 5.8 safely on tri-cams.JR wrote:Trad climbers brush holds???You hang your brushes???What are you talking about?Crankmas wrote:tri-cams are good for hanging brushes because we all know sport climbers won't brush holds-
