If you pull the tape off in the same direction as the hair on your hands, you'll keep the hair on.

Seriously though, tape saves skin, especially on really abrasive sandstone. Nothing is more fun than jamming on bleeding hands.

I've had problems with sweating the tape off-its likely my not so super taping skills, but does anyone have some suggestions?

Yea, there's this sticky stuff you can spray on first. I forget what it's called though.

If you reuse your gloves, then they'll lose their stick and remove the hair on your hands in the process. In other words, the problem will go away.

As another poster said, don't tape. I haven't taped in over 2 yrs. It will help your technique (you'll slide your hands less and place them more) and the backs of your hands will get tougher. Tape really sux when doing thinner cracks.

UBG, i tape and it never has affected my technique. i think it is individual preferance.

I agree.
I've noticed that people who don't wear tape just love to brag about how they don't wear tape. Makes me think they don't wear it just to say they don't wear it. Kind of like when people who use hexes just to say they use hexes when they know damn well that cams work just as well.

I'm gonna start riding a horse so I can brag how I don't need a car. It'll take me a long time to get to work and I'll stink when I get there but I'll be riding a horse.

Yeah, but you can't just put the horse in park and leave it there while you're at work all day, can you?

You need to think outside the box and do something cool: ride a moped. 8)

Hey you punks, instead of ragging on me for bragging, why don't you actually go try not taping for a while (more than 1 or 2 trips)? I'm telling you that it works.
