weird Cam

Post by DriskellHR »

I bought two cam's when I was in JT CA and at the time I guess I was sticker shocked because they were so cheap. Anyway, they do not have any logo other than "CLIMB" on the trigger. it looks just like a black diamond in design and seems like a solid peice of gear, but the webbing has no UIAA tag just wondering if anyone has seen anything like this??

They look similar to the DMM 3CU to me....but they should have the logo and markings then, and they look like they have 4 lobes. Where'd you buy them? I wouldn't use them until you figure that out, myself.

I don't know if you've been to josuha tree CA. but it was a gear sale outside the north "main" (northeast maybe?) entrance to the park. there is a little gear store on the right across the parks visitors center.

no way to figure out who made them as far as I know.... But I have been comparing them to other cams lately and the piece seems well made.

it's a odd thing though....

The shape of the trigger and the cable ends look like some Trango tcu's I have, except my triggers and cross bars are plastic. Don't know if it means anything but I also have some Yates slings the exact same color and stitch pattern :?
