why down rate it when everyone else is calling it 14c why make your score lower? If i had a score card and I cared about the rankings and such i wouldnt down rate a route that was graded harded than what it is. Even in the description of the route on 8a he says it probably isnt 14c
I'm not arguing one way or the other - I don't really care, that's just what word around the campfire is..."If I were to skip the crux on a 12c and it made it 11d, I'd take it at 11d on my 8a" - There's something said for being honest and being humble -
of course, 8a represents everything that is wrong with climbing today =)
