i'm still in the editing phases of my infomercial, but i can tell you, my workout IS REAL! for $14.99 I will include a video (2 dvd or 3 vhs) with 5 hour workout routine, a 1 hour reading of personal favorite proverbs from the bible, and two bonus hours of me and my dog out on the town. also, if you act now, i will include 3 gallons of my own personal protein gel.

Mrs Neal said we need to do this on weekends until it's warm enough to run and climb.

What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

I was using one of those exercise balls as a desk chair to improve my posture, and it worked well till I rolled over a staple.

ho's infomercial

Post by Pete »

ho -- your infomercial sounds just great. what celeb will you get to star in the advertisement? i mean, celeb in terms of the bbs... SCIN? piggie?

i think you're onto a money making scheme but we spent our whole infomercial budget for this year, so we'll have to wait until we win the lottery to purchase your compelling series... sorry.

cheap trick: rather than buying those push up things that pkananen referred to, just use a set of 10 lb weights -- you still get the extra depth on the push up and you already had the weights in the closet... :)

P90X is sick. Michelle bought the DVD set and I've been trying to get through at least one of them. I thought my abs and core were pretty strong until I tried P90X.

amen. P90X is no lie. Di has gone through it mostly twice. I have tried to finish ab ripper X several times. No dice.

Just got a copy also. I hate working abs, but I am forcing myself to incorporate them this year. I can barely do any of ab ripper but figure if I continue working it three times a week that I may see some improvement in my climbing within the year.

p90x

Post by Pete »

Ray - I'm glad you got the P90x videos... now we can talk smack about the people in some of those videos... watch out for the supremely annoying woman in the back and biceps video...you'll want to mute that one just so you don't hear her... then there's josie's doppelganger in the kenpo and cardio videos...

my 2 cents: i've done the whole 90 days (with a few missed days here and there) and it does work, but i prefer to use the workouts as supplemental to my own workout schedule. right now i'm using sevaral of the resistance workouts from p90x and the abs workout (love it) but not their cardio workouts -- I still use the plyo once in a while, but overall find that those workouts are not enough to sustain the target heart rate any longer. So, I've created my own hybrid workout schedule that uses several of the videos along w/ other cardio days -- glad Michelle bought it for you - the infomercial makes it looks kinda silly, but it is the real deal if you can get past all of their marketing for add on supplements, etc.
