Sunbeam Buttress receives good sun and stays calm in the wind - usually.
We climbed there when it was 30 degrees and snowing and it felt 10 degrees warmer than everywhere else we had been. Fun easy sport climbs and a little trad.

Neither are you! :P

Don't make me come up there!
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

Well, you never know what you're gonna get when you throw out the chum...but you gotta try. Thanks for the common sense (and some oh-so-common climber comments). I've lived here long enough and been to the gorge enough to know that nothing is 100% predictable (look, a syllable with dic(K), someone please hijack this thread). I digress...oh yeah, been crappy in Louisville and beautiful at the gorge. Crappy by the tunnel and beautiful in the Southern. Wet where it should be dry and hot where it should be cold. All in the same day. Make plans to climb, just go climb, weather be damned! One thing's for sure (like you JR) I'll enjoy!

There will be no suffering today... Unless of course you're sitting around on this forum wishing one of your friends could pry themselves from their drudgery to go do some climbing in these prime conditions. Fuck Me.
