i love it....both sides are making my point exactly...see how fruitless this argument is...each side is etched in stone, sure beyond a doubt that they understand what is right and true about this great country of ours...both sides preach "understanding and tolerance", yet would NEVER be like the others...sprag, sik, tom, sax, rhunt....you guys are so full of your righteous opinions (as am I) that you have been blinded to the alternatives available... to say I would NEVER become a conservative just shows your ignorance and bias Sprag....to say Clinton NEVER did a thing right for our country is just as lame....but keep it coming people. this is quite comical....liberals call bush inept...conservatives call clinton a moron....pick your horse, and saddle up...yee haw!
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.

Opinions are like assholes piggie. Everyone has one and they all stink.

Damn Piggy, you make the most sense out of anyone I have heard this whole arguement. You see, though I fully understand that an argument of opinions will last through infinity, I feel it necessary to justify my opinion by explaining it's direct impact on the ol' #1 and his loved ones....now, not later. The one thing I DO appreciate about liberals is also the same thing that gets them a bad rap. They have compassion for other people and if we could all show a bit more of that, we would be MUCH better off as humans. With that in mind, liberals sometimes use that as an excuse to excessively piss and moan and protest about stuff, just like they say GW is using Saddam as an excuse to go in and get oil. So what it boils down to is what do you do about it? It's like the universe, it's driven by yin and yang and has no end.

Dang, this is almost as exciting as Tour de France coverage. Here's a question. We're shipping jobs overseas as fast as we can, from sewing sneakers together to writing Java code. Economically it is cheaper to let laborers in some other country do it, then just buy it from them, than to pay someone in the US to do it. Oil is no different. We have no trouble getting it from many different sources and it is cheap. Why would we go to the expense of a military campaign against a country halfway around the world, just to "get" their oil? Here's an interesting exercise- look up what percentage of US oil comes from the middle east. For extra credit, what's Iraq's biggest export behind oil?

...and the plot thickens! Just be careful what sources you cite for your info though, they may be construed as trumped up media garbage! :)
