Hey all! The first fundraiser is scheduled for August 30th at Lexington Rocks. It will be a 250 foot climb where climbers can sign up, get donations and the top 3 fundraisers will be awarded some pretty cool prizes. We hope to have the same fundraiser in two other cities on that same date. Look for this to come to your area soon.
Also, I've received a great response on ideas from climbers. Keep them coming. We even have someone who developed their own idea and is going forward with our full support. Please let us know if you have the time and motivation to do that. It all helps!

Look you. People are not going to be sponsored or accept pledges. Essentially, the participants will promise to climb 250-feet (and Bryan has promised to put up some easy juggy routes for people to lap so no one will get injured) and people will "sponsor them." Money collection takes place before the event. That way, there's no chasing people down for cash. I'd hate to sic DK on anyone, even for charity.

Spragwa,
It seems you are pretty involved in the rrgcc and the recent events / property purchase.
How about a little more info in your profile about who you are instead of just a "hired gun"?
I would feel better trying to relate to a real person in regard to these issues rather than some ficticious name on the internet.
Not meant as a flame, just an observation.

Ok cool,
Not that you have to put a job title in your profile.
I just think once the annonymity (sp?) of posting to the web under a made up name has been removed, questions and answers become more real and sincere.
When is the fundraiser coming to Cincy?
