You can't imagine PETA being anything other than no-kill because you don't understand the psyche of these freaks. They believe animals are better off dead than they are as pets. It's an act of "kindness" to off them, and it would be "cruel" to find them loving homes. Twisted fuckers.

Larry is correct about PeTA. They will also go to extraordinarily cruel extremes in order to make a point. HSUS (Humane Society of the United States, not affiliated with Humane Society shelters) is just as bad as PeTA. Whenever you hear "Animal Rights" be wary.
