Post by jc »

Hello,

We are planing a trip at the end of next May. Anyone knows how is the weather and if there is much mosquitoes at that time of year ? Would it be better going sooner ?

Bugs aren't going to be anything like the problems you've maybe had up there. Bring some bug-stuff in case, but you probably won't need it.

Weather will be warm - hot. If you are lucky, you'll catch a decent stretch that won't be too humid.

Anytime sooner might be better humidity wise.

What Gulliver said. Mosquitoes in the Red in May are generally about what they're like in Algonquin area in late-summer. I haven't owned bug-stuff since I moved down here. The ticks suck, though.
