I am on my third one and have not had a problem with any of them. They last a long time and I can always find one on sale.

Hell, if they were any good you'd still be on the first one.

I really really like my beal rope. But my sterling was better. I would buy both again.

I like my beal, especially for the price; really liked some sterling ropes I have used too though. Oh, and my beal seems more elastic than most other ropes I have used, if this concerns your decision.

I've owned two of them and love them, they're very durable ropes-needless to say one of the two ended up in a 60+ foot pine tree on the side of the first flatiron a few years ago.

You looking for a deal? Bluewater has decent ropes for a good deal on a couple of sites. Of course the best are Sterling and Mammut. But you will pay for em.
