Online Guide V3
Re: Online Guide V3
so now you can view your partner's spray as you browse the guidebook.. the thought is that it'll help you decide on crags with your partner.Corporate Whore wrote:more to come in the near future.. like:

to start sharing, go to their spray. then, when you view a wall, you'll see the routes both of you have sent..
either way, like it or trash it, enjoy
and great loves will one day have to part -smashing pumpkins
Yep, that's what I mean.Corporate Whore wrote:you mean on the page show_spray.php? if so, then no, it's not an oversight but it's a good idea to add it. if that's what you're talking about, then i'll get to it soon..

I can't believe what Paul and Yasi have done. They have taken a solid framework and under utilized data and wielded it all into an impressive and highly useful visual and analytical tool. The graphs are awesome and all the added functionality makes for a much better user experience.
Paul, Yasi - You two really have done an amazing thing. Thank you so much for all your hard work and creativity.

Does he have a strange bear claw like appendage protruding from his neck? He kep petting it.
Paul, you're probably ready for a break but I was wondering if it would be possible to have it where if you are viewing a crag like Solar Collector and Gold Coast
http://www.redriverclimbing.com/RRCGuid ... .php?id=71
and you click on a route like Brilliant Orange
http://www.redriverclimbing.com/RRCGuid ... hp?id=1073
you could have a "previous" and "next" button to advance you to adjoining routes?
I know it seems a bit lazy as the back button on my browser will work too, but if it's not much work, I think it would be a good addition.

The new guide is really nice. The charts and graphs help us visually oriented people. Paul and Yasmeen thanks sincerely.
I have a question for the admins that applies to both old and new guides;
When are route grades changed from FA opinion to reflect community consensus? Is it based on the number of votes for grade or just when admins get around to updating it? There are a number of routes in newer areas where the consensus difficulty varies a good bit from the stated grades in the guide. Older areas seem to be more in line. Us bean counters like to know where we stand. Thanks for all the hard work!
