I'm not sure if it'd help, but I'm pretty sure this is Oil-Crack and The Arena. Might help in drawin up a map, or etc... The satellite imagery is from 1995, but the oil company has been there a while and the buildings looked pretty old and the roads on the satellite photos look like what I remember driving through.
If climbers used the word "Beta" the way computer programmers did, then we'd be in for a world of hurt.

DOH!!!!! Forgot the link: http://terraserver-usa.com/image.aspx?t ... 3&z=17&w=1

Actually, now that I look, this view would be better for "overall". The "Sharp right hand turn is bottom middle": http://terraserver-usa.com/image.aspx?t ... 1&z=17&w=1

I updated the directions to read Bald Rock Road. Thanks for the input. Eventually these directions will get a bit better (along with the route descriptions).

Actually, I just remembered. I wrote down the exact mileage the last time I was there. I'll get that put in the directions as well.

for all the people who dont like signs you can walk around all day and look for the crags while i am climbing rock. i dont drive 4 hours to walk around in the woods i can do that at home. there is nothing wrong with a user friendly area.
THERE WILL ALWAYS BE.

yeah, but i don't go climbing to look at signs. you're correct, there's nothing wrong with a user friendly area, maybe we should leave top ropes up for you too? We should probably even pave the road to the Arena, that'd help, and then you could get your pontiac back there. Hell, we should definitely bring everything to where we like it... climbing being the most selfish sport there is apparently.

You are a moron. Do you want me to wipe your ass for you too? Is it too hard to reach back there?

I read directions... i find crags. I go with people who've been before, I find crags. If it needs to be more user friendly than that for you, then you need to take up needlepoint. Maybe you should move closer... or maybe just stay home.
