Well the bouldering in cleveland is awesome. Spraypaint, broken glass, weird green munge that won't scrub off, crack heads, more crack heads, and crappy rock.
I once saw a crack almost drown when he was trying to cross the flooded river on his bike. It was epic, but the crack power paid off.

Fletch Andrews and I were the pioneers of bouldering in the South Chagrin Reservation mentioned in Rock & Road. Lovely climbing on interbedded limestone and shale above the stone steps leading down to Squaw Rock. Then upstream, beyond Squaw Rock, the rock quality improves but presents death fall scenarios.
A much better pastime in Clevo this time of year is soloing verglas on shale.
