They have an underwater viewing setup at one of the parks. Next trip, I am going to try to get an underwater housing for my camera, and try to do some shots while swimming with them. Such cool creatures, natures zen masters...

I dig the self portraits Wes. Some of Jill and my favorite trip pics are self portraits of us (fast fps make for funny outtakes too!).

Where abouts did you two paddle to get those cool nature shots?
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Yep, I love self portraits as well, esp. fun with a super wide angle or fisheye! You should post up some of your all's!

We did the kayak tour in kings bay / crystal river area. Very cool, but also that area is pretty well developed along the banks. That is were a lot a Manatees spend the winter though. Most of the wild life that I posted was from Homosassa Springs state park. This trip was kinda a recon for a longer future trip, so we didn't try to do to much. Next time, along with swimming with the manatees to get some better photos, I want to do at least a couple longer, more remote kayak trips. That part of Florida is way cool, very wild and pretty.

There's a very cool submariner's museum at Kings Bay. Worth walking through. I don't remember what beach we went to but I think it was over in Florida. When you live in Ohio any time at the beach is pretty sweet.

Wes, did you go Soaring?
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.
