lol - my MS paint skills aren't so great - but it gives him the idea. maybe you can draw it better w/o just having the rope on top of itself in the drawing so it's a confused mess. :D

Be careful of this situation at Muir as well...

I think the quote refers to people who always talk but never do anything. I used to be one of those people. I decided to quit being that way a while back and that quote serves as a reminder to me to reject being a wanna-be and just BE.

Unfortunately I am still "thinking about acting" as it was quite wet out and I put it off until it gets a little more dry. I did visit the Red today, but I hiked into the hills and stared off into the distance a while before returning home. I will update this thread after the deed is done...and it will be done. I have prepared myself with knowledge, and feel ready to confront it.

I don't know you, but your posts are revealing. I hope you make it over the mental hurdles to reach your goals.

My posts are always intended to be revealing. If I did not want to reveal anything, I would not post. Any thing that I say is intended to be taken quite literally. Yes there is a mental hurdle to deal with. Isn't that a full half of the challenge or more? Now, yesterday the weather was wet, and my usual climbing partner (my wife) wanted to hike instead, so I spent the afternoon exploring the Indian Stairway region. My next day at the Red will see me lead.

I will be especially careful of the second situation illustrated. I have never been in prison, but I get the idea.

I see that Indian dude and the tear is once again rolling down his ruddy red face- sad yet poignant.
