Alpinist burns

Post by RRO »

This is the best mag on the market by far and they need some help. They just lost everything to fire. If you have never read it, get it now you wont be dissapointed. If you need to renew, do it now or give is as a gift to someone you dig. Would hate to see this mag fade away.

yeah dude, i know it a shocker but alpinist actually has climbing stories and isnt 99.96% full of flashy adds for very big companies.

I actually just read my first issue of UC, and what a pile of crap....you are right...full on ads, but what was worse were the "poser profiles" 6 times throughout, and very few, if any climbing stories. Justin Roth did have a write up on the Rocktoberfest, which is why I bought it. It was the best thing in there.

I am getting old, because UC seemed more like Men's Health, Maxim, or People Mag...

sorry to derail RRO....I will tell the wife to get me a subsciption to Alpinist.
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.

Kudos to McKenzie Long!!! She accepted her offer and took an internship with the Alpinist. We're moving to Jackson Hole in 3 weeks. They're putting on a huge film festival that will hopefully boost their sales and get them out of the rut. Hopefully this fire won't alter that.
Happy without reason
