Any reactions from the right to this? I mean other than trying to indict me for posting it, the authors for compiling it, and the "liberal media" for reporting on what's happening in the world. I and others have been saying for years that the Republican approach to government is fascistic in nature and Bush & Co. has taken it to a frightening level. This is nicely laid out but I am sure that a good debater could refute many of the comparisons drawn. But how many? What percentage can you actually argue aren't kind of fasistic in nature?

Fascism
I just want to know if we will all have to wear some kind of snazzy uniform with patent leather boots and walk funny.

No but if you want your kids to go to college after they grow up, you better start pulling at least triple digits pronto! The economic stratification of American Society will look more and more like a Banana Republic (government for the few and priviledged) and less and less like the land of opportunity.
Why that sounds like class warfare! We can't have that! We're a happy family!
Under this administration the wealth of this country has shifted to a tiny little group of ultrawealthy people, the number of Americans that are straight up poor has increased, and the number of middle class has decreased, we're up to our eyeballs in debt and the poorer we become, the more of a burden that debt becomes.

Alan, A few years back, when the militia movement was on the rise, and you went to a gun show, you could always find some crazy son-of-a-bitch behind a table full of books and pamphlets. This nutcase of the ultra-right would be weaving a grand conspiracy theory that involved the trilateral comission, the U.N., Jews, black helicopters, and something called One World Government. He'd have all kinds of books and tapes that seemed authoritative, to some I suppose, to back up the crazy fucking theory he was peddling about how the U.N. would be taking over the world, and us along with it.
This was almost more crap in one spot than I could stand. Not wanting to spend the night in jail, I'd just walk on by, but what I thought I ought to do was punch the stupid fucker in the nose, turn over his table full of propoganda, and kick his sorry ass from one end of the building to the other. Just for being so fucking stupid.
The crap you linked to is an exact mirror image of the bullshit that the unhinged right puts out. Whoever went to the effort to put that paranoid fantasy together is just as big a lunatic as the gunshow guy was. We don't really need the "brilliance" of either of these nut jobs. One of these days you'll probably grow up and see this for yourself. Until then, I'll try to help enlighten you where I can.

Hate to disagree with you guys, as I'm a flaming liberal, but really, you could piece together a slideshow from any administration, to make the points this guy is making. I'm sure some of Bill Clinton's comments could be taken out of context to prove he was a fascist as well.
I've had just about enough of this shit.
