um, shamis, name me one single candidate who is an atheist who is running for president. that is a lame excuse to use...every single candidate claims to be religious, so now YOU have to pick the one you think is lying...yep, that seems like a better way to pick the president
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.
None of them can openly admit being an atheist, or they cannot win the election. So you have to look at which ones back up their stances on various issues based on rational thought vs whatever christian cult they belong to.pigsteak wrote:um, shamis, name me one single candidate who is an atheist who is running for president. that is a lame excuse to use...every single candidate claims to be religious, so now YOU have to pick the one you think is lying...yep, that seems like a better way to pick the president
Huckabee and Romney clearly are bible monkeys. Ron Paul, McCain and Giuliani all seem much less inclined to make decisions based on their faith.
On the dem side, both Hillary and Obama appear to be bible monkeys, although its perhaps a little more forced. But the amount of effort they go through to appear to be bible monkeys is disturbing (particularly hillary with here book about her beliefs in god...oh god).
And picking the candidate that lies about their religion is a small compromise to make since all the candidates are clearly professional liars.
