It's only a matter of time before Lateralus gets on this thread and makes a sarcastic comment about the red not needing more crowds

I tend to agree but that's inevitable so its all good.

heh an RRG article in R&I might be something to worry about maybe 10 years ago. If you haven't heard of the Red by now and you're a travelling climber, you gots issues. I think some good crowd control would be charging Canadians to climb there :)

not true at all. living in california for the last coupla years i met tons of people who were just starting to hear about the red or just heard about it due to the roc trip. also many of the people who knew of it assumed it was a pile, but it's getting so much more press that people are having second thoughts and checking it out for themselves.
