So why the fuck did the jews get land already occupied? Wouldn't that be like the U.N. coming in and giving Manhattan (or substitute any major US city) back to the Native Americans and forcibly removing everyone already living there?

That is the purpose of the news. To ensure ratings by feeding you fear based information that keeps you coming back to watch it in order to make sure that you are still safe. That is why I quit watching TV and reading newspapers. I get a little news from reading slashdot.org, but most of that is computer stuff.
