Have you heard that OPEC is considering changing from the US Dollar to the Euro, because they are trading oil for, "worthless paper". I guess we should have been more concerned with other things, like fiscal responsibility.
pigsteak: I do not feel that my statement was retarded at all. Anyone that expects others to lose their lives while they take no risk for a cause they purportedly believe in is seriously not taking responsibility for their ideals. Do I approve of the fact that lazy chair bound politicians can send our young off to war without assuming any responsibility for it? No. I have to admit that the politicians of the conservatives and liberals both serve only self interest. Maybe I am still too naive for a man my age, but I feel that such duties are sacred and not taken lightly. I most likely will vote, but do I really like any of the candidates...no. Pepsi or Coke...

L K Day: The reason for my statement about enlisting is to put things into perspective. I often do not feel that people realize that war is not a glory party or an action film. It is a real and terrifying event that should only be undertaken under the gravest of circumstances.
So by this logic I cannot disagree with sending our soldiers into a stupid, meaningless war meant to enrich the current fascistic regime? Or can I disagree with Bush & Co. but you can't agree?
